My Bio

Jandira Mario, originally from Luanda and residing in the Netherlands for 20 years, has always had a passion for hair braids and styling . This interest led her to seek improvement in her talent, undertaking training in afro hair  and design, aesthetics, from 2010 to 2013.  Her professional career as a Hairstylist began.

 

From 2013 to 2018, Jandira worked as a professional Hairstylist in various locations, participating in significant projects. These include bridal preparations in Denmark in 2016, the Amsterdam Fashion Show in 2017, and Miss World Nederlands 120 Laden, where she was responsible for the contestants' hairstyles.

 

Additionally, she had the opportunity to be selected for the International Women Empowerment Event, Ghana Fashion Week, International Fashion Week in Istanbul, Turkey, and Society Lunch.

Throughout this period, Jandira also contributed her expertise to different projects for Dutch magazines such as Imirage Magazine and Magazine Art of Portrait and Vogue 

 

Her skills and dedication earned her the position as one of the official Hairstylists of the Black Fashion Week Netherlands, being involved in every edition of the event. Furthermore, she received a special invitation to participate in the Angola Fashion Week, showcasing her international recognition.

 

 

Recently, Jandira embarked on a trip to Morocco for a photographic project portraying modern and artistic styles with afro hair. Her involvement in this experience enriched her creative repertoire and provided an innovative approach to the fashion and hair industry. Her work continues to be a source of inspiration, establishing Jandira Mario as a prominent professional in this field.
